Where Young Scholars Lead the Dialogue on Sustainability and Innovation

Session Guidelines for IESF-2025 Presenters and Participants

To ensure a smooth and productive conference experience, all presenters and attendees are kindly requested to observe the following session guidelines:

Session Format and Timing

  • Each technical session will run for a total of 120 minutes (2 hours), accommodating multiple paper presentations under a common theme.

  • Each presentation is allocated 10 minutes, comprising:

    • 8 minutes for the presenter to deliver their research,

    • 2 minutes for questions and answers (Q&A) from the session chair and audience.

  • Session chairs will strictly monitor time to ensure that all presenters receive their fair share of attention and to maintain the schedule.

Joining Sessions

  • Presenters and participants are requested to join their assigned session at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time. This will allow time for technical checks and brief coordination by the session chair or moderator.

  • Please ensure that your microphone, camera, and presentation file are working properly before the session begins.

  • All sessions will be recorded; recordings will be available on YouTube.

Accessing Sessions Online

  • The conference is being conducted virtually with Microsoft Teams as the platform for virtual participation.

  • Clickable MS Teams links are embedded in each session title within the program schedule. Participants can access their respective sessions directly by clicking on the session name.

  • Additionally, for convenience, the session link is also provided at the end of each session description.

Time Zone

  • All session times mentioned in the program are in Pakistan Standard Time (PST) – GMT +5.
